Job Description

As a Deputy Vice President of Cyber Innovation, you will lead the Centre of Excellence's (CoE) Innovation & Simulation Lab, fostering a culture of experimentation and prototyping. This role focuses on driving strategic innovation, simulating real-world cybersecurity challenges, and accelerating the development and testing of emerging solutions to future-proof the organization's digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the CoE's goals and the organization's overall cybersecurity objectives.
  • Enable the design of innovation and research labs to ensure state-of-the-art facilities.
  • Establish frameworks for research and innovation activities, including infrastructure enablement, operational models, and outcome measurement.
  • Drive strategic and operational relationships for the implementation and operation of the lab.
  • Ensure efficient lab operations, effective resource allocation, and project management practices.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of research initiatives and innovation projects.
Requirements

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience in Cyber Innovation & Simulation, with at least 8-10 years in leadership roles. They should have experience working or managing cyber Security Innovation initiatives and Simulation of cyber solutions.

  • Strong understanding of various cybersecurity domains, including futuristic cybersecurity technologies, emerging trends, and disruptive technologies.
  • Proven experience in leading or supporting innovation initiatives, including ideation, prototyping, and product development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and align innovation efforts with the organization's business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in setting up or working in a Centre of Excellence is highly desirable. Collaboration with academic institutions, industry partners, and government agencies can also be beneficial.
