Job Title: Chief Cybersecurity Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to lead our ISO 27001 implementation and audit projects, ensuring seamless risk assessments, gap analysis, and compliance checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive ISO 27001 implementation plans, encompassing risk assessments, gap analysis, and compliance checks.
  • Drive the adoption of NIST cybersecurity frameworks across various industries, collaborating with clients to ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide strategic guidance on security best practices, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Conduct internal audits and prepare clients for certification audits in accordance with ISO standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain Information Security Management System (ISMS) documentation, ensuring up-to-date policies and procedures align with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end client engagements, driving business growth through exceptional customer experiences.
  • Mentor and lead junior consultants, reviewing deliverables to ensure timely project completion and excellence in quality.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness, conducting workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients and internal stakeholders on best practices.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in Information Security consulting, with a strong background in ISO 27001 implementation and auditing.
  • Proven experience with NIST framework implementation and controls assessment, as well as cloud environment auditing across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • A deep understanding of GRC practices and cybersecurity principles, with ISO 27001:2013/2022 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Prior team management or leadership experience is essential, along with excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively.
