About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team at Bizongo. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the Steel sector. Your primary goal will be to build and maintain relationships with clients, negotiate sales contracts, and close deals. Additionally, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets and cross-selling different products.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the Steel sector (Billets/Scrap/Sponge).
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Negotiate sales contracts and close deals.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and cross-sell different products.

Requirements

- 6-10 years of experience in hunting B2B clients and onboarding them.
- Affinity for action and ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in fast-moving B2B Steel Billets, Sponge Iron, or Scrap sales preferred.

What You'll Be Doing

- Understanding the market and implementing a sales plan to acquire new clients, increase revenue, and wallet share in acquired clients month on month.
- The sales plan should aim at consistently bringing in highly profitable clients to increase profitability month on month.
