**Job Description:**

Oracle database administrators manage and maintain the performance, security, and integrity of Oracle databases. This role requires a deep understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and query optimization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle 12c/19c performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and optimizer hints. Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development and debugging is also essential.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience supporting web applications, API-driven architectures, or middleware platforms. Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Fusion Cloud database integration is preferred.

Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving database bottlenecks affecting application/API performance, tuning SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and indexes for optimal response times, implementing best practices for connection pooling, partitioning, and caching strategies, and ensuring efficient database design for web applications with high concurrency and SLA targets.

**Qualifications & Skills:**
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, with emphasis on Application DBA responsibilities.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and optimizer hints.
  • Experience supporting web applications, API-driven architectures, or middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Fusion Cloud database integration.
