DBA Expert Wanted

We're seeking a seasoned Oracle DBA to lead our database operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering multiple Oracle databases in production, development, and QA environments.
  • Performing installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Optimizing database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
  • Managing high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
  • Implementing robust backup/recovery strategies.
  • Automating administrative tasks using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or Python.
  • Collaborating with SAP Basis teams to support SAP systems using Oracle.
  • Ensuring database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
  • Performance tuning (SQL, instance-level).
  • Backup/recovery and storage management.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and automation.
  • Experience in both on-prem and cloud-based Oracle DB setups.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • SAP environment experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems using Oracle (ECC, BW, PI, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of how Oracle integrates with SAP NetWeaver architecture.
  • Ability to support SAP Basis teams in database-related operations.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
