Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and results-driven Business Development Representative who can generate leads, nurture prospects, and close sales deals through effective communication and relationship-building.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by utilizing their exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills. They will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to prospective customers, following up on inbound leads, and engaging with prospects to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to generate leads and qualify sales opportunities
  • Follow up on inbound leads and inquiries received through various channels, such as phone, email, and website
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, educate them about our products/services, and present solutions that meet their requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues
  • Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track sales activities, update customer information, and generate reports on sales performance
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas by consistently meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, conversion rates, and revenue targets
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and continuous learning opportunities to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Business Development or Inside Sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Goal-oriented mind-set with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and lead generation strategies
  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Lifescience/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or any other related field (preferred but not mandatory)
