Job Description

As a seasoned Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production team and contract workforce. Your key objective will be to plan, organize, and execute production activities within the plant to meet customer expectations while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop overall project schedules with senior management and execute them with your team. Identify and plan critical parameters in projects.
  • Report on monthly, quarterly, and annual production plans, implementing them on the shop floor with efficient supply processes to achieve company objectives.
  • Establish systems and SOPs for all fabrication activities.
  • Continuously review and improve procedures and methodologies.
  • Monitor work progress, address issues as needed, and implement 5S practices.

Responsibilities

Assure effective and efficient utilization of personnel and equipment, reducing setup and cycle times. Settle technical disputes during project execution.

Requirements

Experience in manufacturing heavy fabrication activities (10+ years). Excellent knowledge in fabrication of equipment like pressure vessels, hydro project equipment, cement, and power plant equipment.

  • Excellent welding process knowledge (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW).
  • Ability to analyze technical problems in manufacturing activities.
  • Knowledge of ASME Sec III, Sec VIII, Sec IX, DIN, and JIS standards.
  • Implementation of quality control standards for heavy fabrication activities.
  • Through knowledge in materials like CS, alloy steel, SS, P11, P22, and P91.
