Cloud Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Cloud Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop high-performing teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate to high complexity and risk.
  • Lead Service Operations support for public and private cloud, ensuring seamless delivery of business-critical services.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to address business process impact during large incidents, driving effective problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Owning end-to-end availability and performance of key services, building automation to prevent problem recurrence.
  • Developing and improving operational processes, such as Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, post-mortems, RCAs, and others.
  • Maintaining consistency of cloud environments through efficient release management processes.
  • Defining KPIs and reports to provide transparency and drive positive change within operational areas.
  • Fostering a culture of continual improvement through strategic and thoughtful solutions, embracing an automation-first attitude.
  • Building strong observability and monitoring capabilities in partnership with Engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of technical leadership in Cloud Operations or similar field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex situations and leading cross-functional teams.
