Production Leadership Role

The Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in monitoring and optimizing production workflows. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement shift schedules that align with weekly workloads, ensuring efficient workforce rotation.
  • Daily Operations: Conduct morning meetings to communicate daily plans to team members at each station.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the progress of work at each station, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Audit Compliance: Ensure seamless closure of audit observations/NCRs by providing necessary evidence.
  • Process Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement through Poka-Yoke implementation, Kaizen events, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of assembly drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.
  • Assembly Fixture Management: Understand various fixture categories, qualification processes, and maintenance requirements.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Proficient in multiple assembly techniques, including sealants, fasteners, riveting, and welding.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Effectively coordinate with PPC, Maintenance, Quality, and Stores teams to resolve daily issues and maintain smooth shop operations.

This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in manufacturing operations.
