Sales & Business Development Manager Role

We're seeking top-tier talent with a proven track record in the healthcare B2B and consulting space—individuals who excel at building powerful networks and consistently surpassing targets. This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales & Business Development Manager at Docplexus in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities
  • Represent Docplexus by being a seasoned business and marketing consultant, digital expert, and strategist to our industry partners – including Pharmaceuticals, Medical devices, Diagnostics, and Medtech businesses across India and international markets.
  • Understand brand and business gaps of our potential and existing industry partners via probing and secondary research, aiming to pitch Docplexus offerings and expertise with clear KPIs for mutual success.
  • Consult multinational healthcare companies with marketing, digital, and KPI-driven strategies around their businesses after scrupulous deep-dive into their clinic-marketing objectives, analyzing market trends, and leveraging Docplexus expertise.
  • Translate these digital/marketing strategies into compelling storylines that address the target audience, with clear lead conversion goals.
  • Supervise content marketing strategy creation and execution for your accounts by internal teams, looking for means to cross-sell, up-sell, retain, renew, and improve yield per account.
  • Structure and measure sales approaches, learning, improving, and improvising regularly to work as a team with other BD team members.
  • Set, track, and meticulously achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, with ownership, accountability, and an enterprising mindset to tap into the market potential for digital healthcare across all accounts.
  • Effectively manage funnels across leads from all sources, driving higher sales conversions to support targeted revenues, planning efficiently, and analyzing data.
  • Maintain effective Key Account Management by striving to ensure affable and strategic rapport, high NPS, and sustainably growing business with each account.
Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Sales, Business Development, and Relationship Management skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • A minimum of 4 years (or more) experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry (B2B profile)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and online platforms
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • A Master's degree in Business/Marketing/Pharmaceutical Management/Healthcare Management/Adv. Management Programme for Healthcare
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets
Estimated Salary Range: ₹15,00,000 - ₹25,00,000 per annum
