We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Facilities Manager.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and comfortable work environment for employees and clients.
  • They will also plan and execute preparations for meetings and conferences, as well as coordinate with vendors to resolve service issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: The incumbent will oversee day-to-day facilities management operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Event Planning: They will plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, and other events, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Vendor Management: The successful candidate will manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong core facilities management skills, gained through 5-7 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Tertiary qualifications in hotel management, building management, or business are desirable.
  • Excellent team leadership and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

A Typical Day:

  • The successful candidate can expect to spend time contacting vendors to review services and coordinate resolutions.
  • Daily check-ins around the front office and lobby will ensure high standards are maintained.
