Transaction Operations Specialist

The Transaction Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in processing transactions, events, or data within a functional team. This role often involves handling time-sensitive, complex, or regulated tasks that require interaction with internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete processing of transactions, including relevant controls, within designated areas of responsibility.
  • Apply internal and external policies, guidelines, regulatory requirements, SLAs, KRIs, KPIs, and quality measures to maintain high standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to provide a point of contact for time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks.
  • Contribute to product or function development to ensure a superior offering aligned with changing client needs and market trends.
  • Evaluate operational, regulatory, and other risks and escalate them to line managers and functional leads as needed; develop and implement mitigation or control solutions.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement by working effectively with the team, providing support and guidance to colleagues.
Key Skills
  • Relevant experience in specific technical areas, with reconciliation experience being an added advantage.
  • Product and system knowledge in the product line.
  • Basic analytical skills and flexibility in production problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and local language (written/verbal).
  • Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, able to work in global teams and matrix organizations.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, keep pace with technical innovation, and maintain a broad understanding of the GBS offering.
  • Open-mindedness, ability to share information, transfer knowledge, and expertise to team members.
