Lead Credit Audit Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit audits across Wholesale Banking and SME segments.

Key objectives include reviewing pre- and post-sanction, disbursement, and monitoring processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead or participate in business credit audits and manage a team of auditors.
  • Timely commence and close audits, documenting working papers as required.
  • Prepare and submit audit reports within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Submit RBI data and other regulatory requirements on time.
  • Evaluate audit report quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to policies and process standards.
  • Conduct thematic audits, review processes, and devise audit checklists for internal and concurrent auditors.
  • Examine developments in credit-related areas, providing assurance on regulatory and control requirements.
  • Offer suggestions for process improvements to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading credit audits with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
