Senior Credit Risk Modeler

As a Senior Credit Risk Modeler, you will play a key role in our team, working closely with clients to identify and address credit risk challenges.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive credit risk models that accurately assess the likelihood of default for various loan products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement model validation frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing expert guidance on credit risk management strategies, including recommendations for improving portfolio performance and mitigating potential losses.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of credit risk assessments.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to educate stakeholders on advanced credit risk modeling techniques and best practices.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in the field of credit risk management, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A deep understanding of credit risk modeling principles and methodologies, including experience with IFRS 9 and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
  • Proficiency in statistical software packages, such as R or Python, and experience with data visualization tools.
