About the Centre for Capital Markets:The Centre aims to foster education, research, training, and innovation in financial markets, fintech, quantitative finance, and investment management.Job Overview
  • The Programme Director will lead strategic, academic, and operational initiatives of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Formulate and execute the long-term vision and strategy of the Centre.
    • Develop programs aligned with the Centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.
  • Education and Research Program Management:
    • Support research projects, working papers, and publications in financial markets and related areas.
    • Support faculty-led research, student engagement, and visiting scholar initiatives.
    • Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
  • Industry and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build partnerships with financial institutions, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other organizations.
    • Organize seminars, panel discussions, and talks/lectures by industry experts.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Manage day-to-day administration of the Centre, including resource planning and budgeting.
    • Supervise support staff, interns, and research associates.
  • Communication and Outreach:
    • Oversee the Centre's visibility, including publications and website updates.
    • Represent the Centre at conferences, academic forums, and industry meetings.
Desired Profile:
  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in academic and/or research institutions, regulatory bodies, financial services companies, industry associations, or relevant organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage academic and research programs.
