Job Description

Lead our academic and administrative ecosystem as a senior executive at a private university.

We seek an experienced professional to drive strategic decision-making, foster collaboration, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Compliance & Governance: Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensure timely compliance, and maintain accurate records.
  • Academic Administration: Support the registrar in managing academic programs, examinations, admissions, and records.
  • Legal & Policy Matters: Handle legal cases, policy documentation, and institutional governance in line with statutory requirements.
  • Meeting & Documentation: Coordinate statutory meetings and prepare official records.
  • HR & Establishment: Oversee service rules, appointments, leave records, promotions, and staff/student grievance redressal.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain administrative databases, generate reports for internal and external audits, and submissions.
  • Supervision & Leadership: Guide administrative staff and ensure smooth functioning of student/staff-related services.

Expertise Required:

  • University administration
  • Legal matters related to educational institutions
  • Compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Master's degree with 55% marks or Ph.D. (Law degree preferred)
  • 8–10 years' experience as Assistant Registrar/Deputy Registrar in a private university
  • Strong written communication skills in English
