
Payroll Administrator

The role of a payroll administrator is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of payroll operations for India. This position involves collecting, validating and consolidating payroll inputs, as well as assisting in processing monthly payroll and verifying salary computations.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and validate payroll data from various sources, including attendance, leave, overtime, new joiners, exits, and variable pay.
- Assist in processing monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary computations and statutory deductions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, employee master data, and documentation.
- Support filing of statutory returns and provide data for audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance or HR; MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in payroll administration (India payroll).
- Familiarity with payroll systems (SAP, ADP etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (basic to intermediate).
- Understanding of Indian statutory payroll compliance.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
