We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to lead our financial modelling team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Run Financial Models: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and running complex financial models for solar PV and energy storage projects.
  • Evaluate RFPs: The successful applicant will evaluate requests for proposal (RFPs) to populate relevant assumptions and structure into the financial model used for the bidding process.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Our team collaborates with various teams including development, project financing, finance, EPC, and others to ensure that all necessary assumptions and structures are populated in the financial model.
  • Support Case Runs and Scenarios: We support our development, EPC, and financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to achieve optimal economic benefits and analyze key drivers.
  • Model Audit and Assurance: As required, our team assists model auditors with the model audit process.
  • Lender Support: We provide support to lenders during the project finance process as needed.
  • Complete Ownership of Financial Model: Our successful candidate will maintain complete ownership of the financial model and support the bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling.
  • Present Financial Analysis: They will prepare presentations related to the financial analysis.
  • Training and Supervision: The ideal candidate will train and supervise incoming junior modellers.

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualification criteria:

  • A degree in business, finance, or accounting from a reputable institution.
  • At least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.
  • At least 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar/renewable projects.
  • A hands-on execution capability with a can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modelling.
  • The ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
  • A recognized university degree - Bachelor or above.
