Transaction Advisory Role

As a strategic financial partner, you will lead and execute engagements across finance, valuations, due diligence, and tax advisory. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to founders and investors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Services
    • Develop strategic financial partnerships with start-ups, overseeing budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow, and investor communications.
    • Establish financial discipline and governance frameworks tailored for scaling businesses.
  • Valuation Expertise
    • Provide valuation support for fundraises, secondary transfers, and M&A transactions in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Due Diligence
    • Lead buy-side/sell-side due diligence projects including financial health checks, revenue/margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical reviews.
  • Tax Planning
    • Offer tax structuring advice for business models and transactions, including cross-border setups, holding structures, ESOPs, and exits.
  • Client Management & Team Leadership
    • Manage multiple client engagements with professionalism and responsiveness.
    • Mentor junior colleagues and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA with 4–6 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory at a mid-tier boutique advisory or in a start-up finance team with exposure to FP&A and fundraise projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.
  • Proven track record in client servicing and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
