
Global Expansion Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned International Investment Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing investment strategies across international markets.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cross-border investments, foreign direct investments (FDI), and market entry strategies. You will work closely with clients to understand their expansion plans, identify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing investment promotion projects for our clients
- Conducting evaluation meetings with Indian companies/conglomerates
- Engaging in discussions with CXOs of Indian companies to understand their expansion plans in various international markets
- Identifying companies with business interests to invest/expand in the international markets and generating leads
- Presenting our client's geography as a potential business location for company's expansion plans
- Analyzing and formulating reports from data/information gathered from interactions and meetings
- Engaging with the client, managing delegation visits, client visits, virtual webinars, investors road shows for client accounts
- Writing proposals, business plans, and analysis
- Setting up meetings with CXO level executives of qualified companies
- Preparing and delivering presentations on research findings and trends on cross-border investments, Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to the clients
- Interacting with overseas clients and providing regular updates through the project
- Preparing and delivering presentations on client's geography and proposition to international companies
- Managing junior team members and mentoring them through the process
- Authoring reports containing actionable recommendations
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in trade promotion bodies/expert networks/trade & investment promotion/investment attraction/SME-Corporate Banking/Economic Development/Market Entry with experience in business development and handling overseas clients
- Strong industry expertise and networks. Experience of business development will be preferred
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English is must
- Understanding of Market Entry, Cross Border Investments, Internationalization via International market expansion
- Experience of New Business Development and Client Handling
Qualifications include:
- Bachelors in any discipline, preference for Masters in fields of Economics, Finance, International Business (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required)
- Demonstrated ability to work inter-team, collaborate, ideate, engage with clients and work in global teams
