Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Print Administrator to manage and support our print environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in desktop support and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Mainframe & Printer Management: Knowledge of printers, plotters, and printing from a mainframe is essential. Experience with Mainframe >> VPS >> VPSX is highly desirable.
  • Software Installation and Upgrades: The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and upgrading software on print servers and other related equipment.
  • Printer Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot printer-related issues, including driver installation, mapping of printers, print queues, and new printer requests.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on printers, such as replacing toner cartridges and fixing hardware issues.
  • Print Service Management: Managing print services on the server, including patching activities and validations.
  • Vendor Communication: Leading vendor calls and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Creating and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and monitoring enterprise print services using OMPlus and LRS VPSX.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • OMPlus: Proficient in OMPus for centralized job control and monitoring.
  • LRS VPSX: Experienced in LRS VPSX for output management and delivery.
  • HP Web Jetadmin: Familiarity with HP Web Jetadmin for device discovery, configuration, and firmware updates.
  • OS Knowledge: Proficient in Windows Server/Unix server operating systems.
