Job Summary:

This role leads regional business process initiatives to harmonize and optimize target operating models across the region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Harmonization & Optimization:

Develop and implement standardized processes to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with regional teams to review and refine target operating models, identifying regional specificities and requirements.

  • Technology Deployment:

Help agencies identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and redundancies. Promote best practice sharing between regional agencies.

  • High-Performance Agency Network Management:

Drive a high-performance mindset within regional agencies. Monitor and coach teams to improve agency performance, promoting best practices sharing, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement.

  • Regional Improvement Projects:

Lead regional improvement projects focusing on operational waste reduction, simplification, and efficiency gains. Conduct regular assessments to uncover opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and simplification.

  • Regional Deployments:

Deploy target operating models in regions to minimize exceptions and manage expectations. Implement new tools and processes, monitoring adoption before handover to business units.

  • Project Management & HO Contribution:

Participate in global projects, working closely with headquarters teams and external partners. Provide regional insights and process needs. Collaborate with agencies during transition projects.

  • New Cluster or Agency Setup:

Lead the setup and implementation of new regional clusters or agencies, ensuring alignment with business standards and operational targets. Provide guidance on standard operating procedures and technology requirements.

Required Skills:

This role requires advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and conceptual thinking skills, incorporating inspiring management styles, collaboration, boldness, and teamwork. An ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, data-driven decision-making abilities, and a proactive mindset for reducing waste and automating tasks.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in project management and/or business process improvement.
  • Certification in LEAN Six Sigma, Project Management advantageous.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture and align operational processes with strategic business goals.
  • Change Management: Skilled in managing change to drive the adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Technology Acumen: Knowledgeable about new and emerging technologies, identifying relevant tools for process improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in reducing waste, automating tasks, and simplifying workflows (Lean and Six Sigma knowledge).
