Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of payroll processes and pension reconciliations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes processing daily workload, collaborating with other teams to resolve discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Production & Treasury Administration: Reconciling payments and client bank account records, identifying potential problems and risks associated with bulk transactions, reports and systems.
  • Pension Reconciliations: Collaborating with other teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records, using multiple EQ pensions administration and accounting systems to access and retrieve data.
  • Process Excellence: Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Snipping Tool.
  • Ability to collate data and run macros in Microsoft Excel, with a basic understanding of formulas.
