Workday Payroll Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide expert-level support in the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Workday HCM and Payroll solutions. This includes ensuring seamless integration with various HR processes and workflows.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Expertly configure and troubleshoot Workday Core HCM and Payroll modules to meet client requirements.
  • Develop and implement custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to enhance business decision-making.
  • Analyze and resolve complex functional issues related to Workday HCM and Payroll configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design sessions for HCM/Payroll areas and develop business process configuration.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday security framework, release updates, and regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Workday HCM and Payroll configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR programs, policies, and principles, including data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Workday Core HCM, Payroll certification.
  • At least 4 years of relevant Workday HCM experience and ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring Withholding orders, Taxes, Validations, and Arrears.
