Job Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our team. As a critical member of the payroll process, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze payroll data and transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Support all payroll functions and programs impacting employees, serving as a resource for the employee population.
  • Process accurate and complete employee information, including new hires, terminations, tax, and payment election setup, and ongoing earning and deduction processing.
  • Update the employee payroll database accurately in compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.
  • Perform rigorous quality checks on payroll data to ensure accuracy and avoid unnecessary re-work.
  • Support the delivery of payroll services to agreed timelines.
  • Implement changes to policies and procedures within own area, as directed by the Supervisor and Manager.
  • Operate the payroll Service Now Ticketing System and resolve routine employee queries.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years US and Canada payroll experience is necessary, particularly knowledge of multi-state pay requirements and taxes.
  • Knowledge of Dayforce Payroll and Workday HR is an asset.
  • Microsoft Office applications skills are necessary.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
  • Data entry skills must be accurate and efficient.
  • The ability to follow documented processes is crucial.
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining productivity.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in US AND Canada payroll processing with expertise in French Language is preferred.
