We are seeking an experienced educational leader to join our team as a Primary School Headmistress. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing academic leadership and supervising instructional programs in a Primary school setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating lesson plans, observing classes regularly, and encouraging the use of various instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child growth and development. They will also conduct PTMs and one-to-one meetings with parents, focusing on the academic, emotional, and social needs of students.

In addition to their teaching expertise, the ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

The role requires a Master's degree in any subject, preferably English, Science, or Social Sciences, and a Professional teaching degree from a recognized University (B Ed/MEd). Proficiency in technology and language is also essential, as well as excellent communication skills.

Experience in working with the CBSE board is desirable, but experience of other boards is also welcome. The candidate should have updated knowledge in teaching methodology, remediation planning, differential learning, curriculum review and planning, and student assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Academic Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the Primary school, ensuring that all aspects of academic programming align with the school's mission and values.
  • Instructional Program Supervision: Oversee the implementation of instructional programs in the Primary school, including the evaluation of lesson plans and observation of classes.
  • Pupil Progress Meetings: Conduct regular PTMs and one-to-one meetings with parents, focusing on the academic, emotional, and social needs of students.
  • School Culture: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in education, attending professional development opportunities and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
