Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our agricultural insurance underwriting team.

This position involves risk assessment, data analysis, and the development of tailored insurance solutions for agricultural clients.

  • Evaluate and assess risks associated with agriculture-related insurance applications.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of agricultural risks using historical data, climate forecasts, farm management practices, and geographic factors.
  • Design and recommend appropriate coverage levels and policy terms based on risk assessments and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with loss control teams to suggest risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of agriculture production, climate risks, and farm operations, as well as knowledge of agricultural insurance products, including crop, livestock, and farm insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agricultural Risk Assessment: Evaluate and assess risks associated with agriculture-related insurance applications.
  • Risk Evaluation: Conduct in-depth analysis of agricultural risks using historical data, climate forecasts, farm management practices, and geographic factors.
  • Policy Development: Design and recommend appropriate coverage levels and policy terms based on risk assessments and market conditions.
  • Loss Mitigation: Collaborate with loss control teams to suggest risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of agriculture production, climate risks, and farm operations.
  • Knowledge of agricultural insurance products, including crop, livestock, and farm insurance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in insurance underwriting (e.g., CPCU, ARM).
  • Experience with agriculture insurance policies specific to regional crop and livestock markets.
