Business Analyst - Insurance

At our organization, we're seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst with strong experience in the insurance domain and process/data mapping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and IT to gather and document business requirements.
  • Create detailed as-is and to-be process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS to visualize workflows and identify inefficiencies
  • Define and document data flows between systems, ensuring alignment with business rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify gaps between current and desired states and propose actionable solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Prepare BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and user stories to support development and testing teams.
  • Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Ensure mapped processes adhere to insurance regulations and support risk mitigation strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:

We're looking for individuals with excellent analytical skills, ability to think critically, and strong communication skills. Experience working in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
