Our organization is seeking a ServiceNow expert to join our team as a Solution Architect. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform and be able to design and develop custom solutions that meet our business needs.

The ServiceNow Solution Architect will work closely with stakeholders to understand user stories and determine requirements. They will then participate in solution design after analysis, handing it over to the development team for implementation. We are looking for someone who can focus on solutions that remain close to out-of-the-box functionality as possible.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Customizing and developing ServiceNow applications
  • Supporting the rollout of new applications and modules
  • Configuring application UIs and workflows
  • Demonstrating an understanding of application modules

In addition, the ServiceNow Solution Architect will create custom reports and dashboards with supporting metrics and KPIs that adhere to best practices and have a high focus on instance performance.

We are also looking for someone who can collaborate with other ServiceNow administrators and developers to develop effectively with a global focus. Furthermore, you must be diligent in maintaining consistency in code alignment across instances and in clean code in update sets.

You will also proactively identify system deficiencies in the ServiceNow instances and provide solutions to remediate, ensuring that configuration is consistent across development, testing, and production environments.

This role requires the following skill sets:

  • 6+ years of experience working in a design and development role for a ServiceNow Platform
  • 2+ years of experience as a ServiceNow administrator
  • Experience in transitioning technology from locally focused to centralized technology service organization
  • ITSM functions and modules within ServiceNow
  • RESTful Web Service and APIs
  • IT and Security management best practice (ITIL, COBIT, ISO standards)
  • Experience developing workflows and supporting service technology teams
  • Experience in developing solutions in JavaScript and GlideRecord

Desired certifications include ITIL Foundations Certification and ServiceNow Developer Certification(s). Essential skills include conceptual skills, ability to articulate and document desired business outcomes, ability to remove ambiguity from requirements, service orientation with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, unit and regression testing, troubleshooting and diagnostics, and communication skills (verbal and written).
