
Optimizing Ad Revenue Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our organization as an Ad Yield Manager, responsible for optimizing ad revenue and publisher performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Publisher Management: Manage publisher profit/loss, ensuring optimal yield and publisher KPIs.
- Communication: Liaise with publishers and internal departments to address needs and monetization strategies.
- Technical Q/A: Ensure ad requests and inventory settings are optimized, collaborating with development on publisher releases.
- Publisher Ad Lay-out: Provide recommendations to maximize yield and publisher KPIs based on products and ad requests.
- Publisher On/Boarding: Work with Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs) to get sites whitelisted for programmatic monetization and collaborate with Publisher Operations to enhance yield.
- Yield Analysis: Monitor yield based on demand source by inventory/product.
- Optimization: Analyze partner and publisher performance, revenue streams, and optimize partner set-ups to increase revenue opportunities.
- Ad Operations: Proficient in Demand-Fulfillment Platform (DFP) and SSP system settings to ensure optimal yield setup, SSP block list, and flooring.
- Reporting: Publish weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), weekly SSP reporting, block list reporting, and partner billing/reconciliation.
- Private Marketplaces (PMP) Management: Collaborate with buyers to create deals and optimize them for best performance.
- Data Analysis/Publisher Decks: Analyze publisher and SSP data to report to Development and Programmatic Supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Communication: Effectively convey technical information through oral and written communication, demonstrating professional attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Organization: Work independently, manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Analytical: Possess superior critical thinking skills, able to research and analyze data from multiple sources, with strong business acumen.
- Adaptable: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, willing to accept change and absorb new information.
- Resourcefulness: Deliver results utilizing available resources, possessing a 'get-it-done' mentality.
- Industry Knowledge: Have a grasp and knowledge of Finance and Online Advertising.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Technology, or Business Intelligence.
- 2-3 years of experience in Online Advertising/Web Analytics, including job functions such as Traffic Analyst, Account Manager, Yield Manager, Campaign Manager, Publisher Operations/Development, Ad Operations, Data Analyst.
- Experience with DFP ad server, SSP UI/Applications (Index, OpenX, Appnexus), Header Bidding Ad Tech, and team/relationship management.
- A Plus - Business Intelligence Tools for data manipulation (SQL, Visual Tool) and experience managing a team.
