Job Description

A successful Senior Business Development Project Manager will lead the Sales Project Management team at Bharathi TMT to achieve business growth, drive sales strategy, and implement effective project management practices.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for setting up the team and running the new division, managing the entire division with keen attention, and setting goals for their team. They will produce monthly forecasting reports to see how well they're doing in achieving those targets and budgets based on what's happening with revenue streams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strong experience in New Product Launch and Market Development for the new product is essential.
  • Market knowledge of existing and potential clients is necessary to ensure business growth opportunities are aligned to company strategies.
  • The project must be delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget as per management requirements.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility is a key responsibility.
  • Resource availability and allocation must be ensured.
  • A detailed project plan must be developed to track progress for the new product.
  • Appropriate verification techniques must be used to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Adequate experience and knowledge are required for Channel Distribution and project handling.
  • Regular reporting and escalation to management is necessary. Additionally, MIS management for the management team is also required.
  • Risk management must be performed to minimize risks related to the new product in the market.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with reputed dealers, distributors, and major contractors is crucial.
  • Comprehensive project documentation must be created and maintained.
  • The role requires meeting sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting. Team activities must be monitored daily.
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team is essential.
  • Driving overall product value and formulating policies based on customer needs is a key responsibility.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and increases expectancy level is necessary.
  • Market research and segmentation strategy development, along with identifying new areas/state to introduce the company's product, is also required.
  • Putting Product/Technical knowledge to commercial use, preparing estimates and tenders according to sales and pricing policy, and improving the knowledge base of the entire team are critical responsibilities.
  • Identifying and implementing various strategies and plans for attracting more customers/dealers and resolving gaps in customer expectations versus actual company level is necessary.
Requirements:
  • Estimated Salary: ₹15,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Project Management or relevant field

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
