Job Description

As a seasoned mainframe application developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software applications on the z/OS platform. Your expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 will enable you to craft efficient and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hands-on development experience of 5+ years in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 programs
  • Demonstrated track record as a mainframe application developer
  • Extensive technical knowledge of z/OS programming in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and SQL
  • Solid understanding of JCL and IBM Debugger
  • Good knowledge of Stored Procedures in DB2 and experience working with CICS screens development
  • Ability to work with SORT commands for sorting files through JCL and programmatically
  • Good expertise on DB2 SQLs and Cursors and different SQLCODES
  • Experience working with Changeman, Fileaid, SPUFI tools
