We're seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe & COBOL Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining complex enterprise-level IBM Mainframe applications.

The successful applicant will possess expertise in various technologies, including MF Batch Processing, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS. They should be able to analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure high system performance and reliability.

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL-based applications on IBM Mainframe (z/OS).
  • Write, modify, and optimize JCL scripts for batch processing.
  • Work extensively with DB2, IMS, and VSAM for data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and maintain CICS transaction processing applications.
  • Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and bug fixes.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
