Senior Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise-level IBM Mainframe applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mainframe Batch Processing, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL-based applications on IBM Mainframe (z/OS).
  • Write, modify, and optimize JCL scripts for batch processing.
  • Work extensively with DB2, IMS, and VSAM for data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and maintain CICS transaction processing applications.
  • Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimizations.
  • Develop and implement mainframe modernization strategies, including integration with distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and bug fixes.
