Job Description

SRE and DevOps Architect Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE and DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of end-to-end unified observability systems.

As an expert in cloud platforms and observability tools, you will play a critical role in driving automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and monitoring capabilities to enhance development and operations processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build, implement, and deploy strategies for DevOps, Observability, and Site Reliability Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, defining, and prototyping end-to-end unified observability systems leveraging NewRelic, Splunk, and Grafana Stack.
  • Leading and executing designing, defining, and prototyping the end-to-end unified observability system.
  • Defining build, implementation, and deployment strategies for the DevOps, Observability, and Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Marketing of technology & domain solutions/service offerings to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Managing business relationships with technology partners and start-up ecosystems.
  • Prior experience serving as an architect in Practice, COE, and HBUs.
  • Creating service offerings, solution accelerators, and unique selling propositions.
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills.
  • Presenting capabilities and solutions to end customers.
  • Prototyping observability solutions and leading demo sessions with customer teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • At least 4 years of pre-sales experience working with RFI/RFP.
  • Developing and presenting technical designs and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience assessing SRE, DevOps, and Observability maturity states.
  • Ability to define maturity improvement roadmaps.
  • Defining and implementing SRE, DevOps, and Observability strategies for large-scale projects.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure or GCP.
  • Deep expertise in Time Series Databases configurations and implementation on AWS cloud.
  • Experience with scale observability projects as an architect.
  • Designing, implementing, and cloud-deploying observability on containerized applications using NewRelic, Splunk, and Grafana Stack.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end distributed tracing.
  • 3+ years in Monitoring and Observability automation using NewRelic, Splunk, and Grafana Stack.
  • Deep expertise in observability tools such as Splunk, NewRelic, AWS CloudWatch, AWS OpenSearch, and ELK.
