Support Specialist - Data Analytics Expert

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Support Specialist to optimize our data workflows and server environments. This role ensures end-to-end operational excellence by providing high-quality support for data analytics tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert-level support for data analytics software, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Efficiently handle incident resolution, job failures, workflow optimizations, and performance bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
  • Administer and manage data server environments on Windows, including user access, scheduling, deployment, and logging.
  • Expertly troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with big data platforms, including Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
  • Support version upgrades, patching, and environment migration activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Automate routine tasks and monitoring using scripting languages like PowerShell or Python to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate closely with operations, infrastructure, and data teams to deliver seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date support documentation and knowledge base for recurring issues and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with data analytics software in a support capacity.
  • Strong foundation in Windows Server administration and services.
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
  • Proficiency in SQL query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes and production support best practices.
  • Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
