
Technical Application Support Specialist

Job Overview:
- This is a full-time remote position working closely with the client success team to provide technical support for software issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering department to debug and resolve technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external users, including customer service teams, clients, and partners.
- Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team.
- Assist QA lead with quality assurance activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
- Interact with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root of their problems.
- Propose workarounds to customers when fixes are delayed.
- Deliver timely and accurate customer feedback.
- Follow up with clients to ensure issues are resolved.
- Support the rollout of new applications.
- Provide support through procedural documentation.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Test and evaluate new releases.
- Contribute innovative ideas for efficient operational processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
- Availability during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).
- Experience with tech support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces.
- Familiarity with Linux, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, AWS.
- Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
- Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Knowledge of ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello.
- Experience in texting and communication-based applications is beneficial.
- Certifications in Linux, Java, web development, and AWS are desirable but not required.
- Experience using AI tools for daily tasks.
- Development mindset to scale into a developer with minimal training.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
