Role Summary:
A key member of the HR team is required to develop and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy for our operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing policies and procedures that are competitive and compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Conducting salary benchmarking analysis to ensure pay ranges are aligned with market rates.
- Developing job architecture and grading structures for new and existing positions.
- Managing the performance and delivery of the compensation and benefits team.
- Leading the annual performance management cycle.
- Designing short-term and long-term incentive programs.
- Creating best-in-class benefits portfolios.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure accurate administration of payroll, benefits, and equity programs.
- Designing and delivering compensation training for managers and employees.
- Developing employee communication strategies to ensure employees understand their total compensation package.
- Managing relationships with third-party vendors, including benefit providers and survey vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, finance, or related field; MBA or master's degree preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in compensation and benefits.
- Experience in developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies in India and US.
- Strong understanding of local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits in India.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate complex information to various audiences.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants.
- Strong leadership skills, with ability to manage and motivate a team.
