The role of a Compensation and Benefits Analyst is to develop and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits program that attracts, retains and motivates top talent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing compensation and benefits policies and procedures that are competitive and compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Conducting salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure pay ranges are aligned with market rates.
- Designing job architecture and grading structures for new and existing positions.
- Managing the performance and delivery of the compensation and benefits team.
- Leading the annual performance management cycle.
- Creating short-term and long-term incentive programs.
- Developing best-in-class benefits portfolios.
- Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure accurate administration of payroll, benefits, and equity programs.
- Providing compensation training for managers and employees.
- Developing employee communication strategies to ensure understanding of total compensation package.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, finance or related field; MBA or master's degree preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in compensation and benefits.
- Experience in developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies in India and US.
- Strong understanding of local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits in India.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants.
- Strong leadership skills.
