Job Overview

The role of Sustainability Director plays a pivotal part in shaping the organization's sustainability and quality strategy. As the champion of environmental stewardship and quality excellence, this individual will drive forward-thinking initiatives that not only enhance the organization's reputation but also contribute to its long-term success.

  • Develop and execute the company's sustainability vision, mission, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global best practices.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to embed quality and sustainability into all processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across departments.

  • Collaborate closely with local and global stakeholders to align on quality expectations, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes to keep the organization ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust processes for quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), audits, inspections, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and industry regulations, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and GMP.

  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve quality, customer satisfaction, and business performance through data-driven decision-making and risk management capabilities.

  • Build and lead high-performing quality teams; mentor and develop talent to foster a culture of continuous learning and quality ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Quality Management, Environment Science, or a related field.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in quality, sustainability, or EHS roles, preferably across multiple industries.

  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, compliance standards, and industry regulations.

  • Certified Quality Professional (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ CQE/CQM/OE) is highly desirable.
