Trust Portfolio Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trust Lawyer to manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international trust concepts and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities, producing necessary legal documents for day-to-day matters.
  • Conduct regular reviews of each entity in the portfolio, liaising with clients, trustees, and legal counsel.
  • Be responsible for all legal, regulatory, and trust matters for the portfolio under management.
  • Provide legal research and analysis for structuring trusts and commercial entities.
  • Manage client relationships, operational risk, and service level agreements.
  • Develop and maintain voice and face contact with clients and intermediaries.
  • Ensure adherence to a set of strict standards.
  • Achieve financial chargeability targets and ensure effective monitoring of transactions.
  • Anticipate and manage emerging regulatory, taxation, or legal changes.
  • Support the team by providing guidance and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree and professional Trust related qualifications.
  • STEP qualification in trust and tax is highly advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with trust/ estate law.
  • Strong commercial mindset, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
