Job Title: Legal Manager – Compliance

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Manager – Compliance to manage a broad range of legal matters, including litigation, contracts, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and legal advisory.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Litigation Management:
    • Manage civil and criminal cases, as well as arbitration matters.
    • Vet and ensure timely filing of pleadings in Courts, Tribunals, Fora, and with relevant Authorities.
    • Maintain and circulate up-to-date MIS (Management Information System) for all legal cases.
  • Non-Litigation:
    • Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including agreements, memorandums of understanding, lease deeds, trust deeds, letters of intent, service level agreements, IT, marketing, admin, and outsourcing contracts, non-disclosure agreements, powers of attorney, vendor-related notices, and documentation across departments, corporate policies and procedures, title searches for property transactions, assist in the execution, registration, and formalities related to such transactions, handle applications for intellectual property rights, conduct primary due diligence, conduct legal research on applicable laws, circulars, notifications, policies, and case laws.
  • Work Relations:
    • Coordinate with internal departments to provide legal support across various functions.
    • Liaise with external vendors and legal agencies for contract execution and compliance.
    Educational Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – Mandatory
    Experience
    • Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant legal experience
