Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Compliance and Legal Professional to drive strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and support critical legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results-oriented solutions in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • Compliance Support: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and internal audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize business operations.
  • Legal Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance on complex legal matters, including contract review, negotiation, and drafting.
  • Collaborate with senior counsel and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain effective compliance programs and processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and materials to enhance knowledge and skills among team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with key external partners, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
  • Contract Review & Drafting: Conduct thorough reviews of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, client agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
Requirements:
  • LLB or equivalent degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a law firm, in-house, or consulting role.
  • Proven expertise in compliance, regulatory affairs, and contract management.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
