Role Overview

This full-time on-site position for a Business Development Associate in Chennai offers an exceptional opportunity to drive business growth and success. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for lead generation, building relationships with prospective clients, and closing sales. Your role will play a pivotal part in expanding IRIM's business and contributing to its mission of improving manufacturing processes and enhancing business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients through online platforms, databases, and other sources.
  • Client Engagement: Reach out to prospective clients via cold calls, emails, and social media to present our products/services.
  • Sales Process: Understand customer profiles, provide product/service information, and follow up to close sales.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of client information and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Feedback & Reporting: Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team to improve product offerings.

Requirements:

  • Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years preferably in Inside Sales (or) Business Development roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree: In core engineering disciplines preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and market research skills are required.
  • Negotiation Abilities: Lead generation and networking abilities are essential.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and spoken language skills are necessary.
  • Presentation Skills: Prior experience in cold calling is mandatory.
  • Language Fluency: Professional-level fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the manufacturing industry and knowledge of manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
