Key Responsibilities:
- Government Procurement Advisory Services: Provide expert advice to clients on government procurement processes and procedures.
- Registration and Optimization: Register and optimize organization's profile on different government portals to increase visibility and reach.
- Capabilities Statement Development: Design eye-catching Capabilities Statements to attract government business.
- Government Agency Registration: Register with various government agencies, including Federal, State, and Local Government.
- Prime Registrations and Subcontracting Opportunities: Explore prime registrations and subcontracting opportunities to expand business growth.
- Contact List Generation: Generate leads by searching and creating contact lists of prime contractors.
- Subcontracting and/or Joint Venture Registrations: Register for subcontracting and/or joint venture opportunities.
- Email Campaigning: Conduct email marketing campaigns to promote existing contracts to prime contractors.
- Government Grants Support: Assist in government grants, including Grants.gov registration and email marketing to contracting officers.
- Sales Expertise: Leverage sales expertise to discover new business opportunities in the Public Sector, focusing on Federal, State, and Local Government clients.
- Sales Process Navigation: Navigate complex sales processes and sell to leaders in a designated territory, owning the full sales cycle and negotiation through to client transition.
- Customer Onboarding: Support customer onboarding processes, including documentation such as MSA (Master Service Agreement), NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), SOW (Scope of Work), TO (Task Order), PO (Purchase Order), etc.
- Proposal Preparation: Support proposal preparation for specific projects or work.
- Industry Trade Shows: Attend government meet-ups and industry trade shows to develop new clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Federal Business Development.
- Extensive experience in providing Government Procurement Advisory Services.
- Management function experience within the IT industry or equivalent desired.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication, superb problem-solving skills, and strong time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate BU activities.
- Proficiency in Office suite tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Databases update: Update internal databases, e.g., client records, etc.
- Client Metrics Reports: Create regular reports and presentations on client metrics.
- Delivery-Related Issues: Address client queries regarding delivery-related issues.
