About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Academic Coordinator to join our EdTech team at Boston Institute of Analytics. This role will play a vital part in supporting our academic counselors throughout the admissions process, ensuring seamless coordination and assisting them with every stage - from initial student inquiries to final admission.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Admissions Sales Support: Assist academic counselors in managing initial stages of student inquiries, including scheduling appointments and providing information on program offerings.
  • Student Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for prospective students, helping them understand course options and application steps.
  • Coordination with Counselors: Support academic counselors in organizing counseling sessions, ensuring they have all necessary materials and information for each student interaction.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update records of student inquiries, follow-ups, and interactions in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the admissions team.
  • Follow-Up Activities: Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students on behalf of academic counselors, ensuring students are supported throughout the application process and promptly responding to inquiries.
  • Market Research & Insights: Gather feedback from prospective students and analyze inquiry trends to provide actionable insights to the admissions team and support continuous improvement.
  • Support Reporting: Prepare reports on pre-admission metrics, including student inquiries, follow-up activities, and conversion rates, to help track progress and optimize the admissions process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in academic coordination, admissions support, or educational counseling, preferably within the EdTech industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with prospective students, counselors, and team members.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle a dynamic workload, especially during peak admission periods.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
