Remote AV Support Specialist Job Description:
The role of the Remote AV Support Specialist is to provide expert technical support for audio-visual equipment and video conferencing systems. This involves ensuring seamless operations for global meetings, events, and webcasts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling, modification, and cancellation of white glove conferences and webcasts.
- Manage the associated service Outlook mailbox.
- Analyze performance and usage metrics.
- Resolve service tickets related to AV and webcasting technologies.
- Monitor and update support queues for current and upcoming AV technologies and webcast incidents.
- Evaluate complex issues and escalate to third-level support or manufacturer/vendor teams.
- Maintain and update training and troubleshooting documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AV support, video conferencing, and webcast management.
- Familiarity with Cisco Video Codecs, VBrick Rev, and related AV/IT infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with ticketing systems and documentation management.
Requirements:
- Ability to analyze performance data and make recommendations for improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
