Job Title: Global Marketing Lead

We are seeking a skilled Global Marketing Lead to join our Commercial unit based out of Global Business Service (GBS), Bangalore, India. At Novo Nordisk, we use our skills, dedication, and ambition to help people with diabetes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing brand strategy, tactical plan development, and implementation using an omnichannel strategy and experience of launch planning and driving brand launches with GLP-1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Launch activity planning (LAP) in close collaboration with different cross-functional teams.
  • Derive insights from data to formulate strategic and commercial launch plans.
  • Steer the roll-out plans and volume allocation plans aligned with the brand and portfolio launch strategies.
  • Demonstrate close collaboration between stakeholders at every stage of the launch planning and execution.
  • Work closely with markets/affiliates for launch readiness.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B.Sc), or Engineering (B.Tech).
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
  • 10+ years of overall experience preferably in Pharmaceutical Marketing/Medical Affairs/Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 8+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing/management.
  • Experience within CV or chronic disease therapy area is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations.
  • Strong project management skills and content writing skills.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analyzing complex datasets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word are a must.

About the Department:

The Commercial, GBS unit is responsible for creating insights to launch a product, market intel, forecasting, Global Brand Strategy & Tactics. Comprising of Project Management, Brand Management, Brand Communications, Life cycle Management of a product. In the Diabetes Commercial Unit, we are a passionate team helping 26+ million people with diabetes achieve better health through superior products and solutions. We drive the commercial strategy across a strong portfolio of both launch and life-cycle management products.
