Business Development Manager

As a key business unit of MakeMyTrip, MyPartner aims to provide seamless inventory and pricing solutions to travel agent partners across the country.
In just a short span, the business has scaled up with over 43k active travel agent partners on its platform.
About the RoleThe role involves building the MyPartner brand in target markets, ensuring maximum spread and depth.
You will identify and onboard potential travel agents, ensure platform adoption, and resolve queries for onboarded agents.
The role also includes building business partnerships to gain wallet/market share and drive market growth.
Key Responsibilities- Onboarding and Relationship Management: Connect and engage with travel agents, manage their accounts, and drive sustainable performance in the region.
- Portfolio Management and Driving Growth: Develop business plans to achieve revenue goals, ensure inventory levels meet demand, and maintain rate competitiveness.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Establish partner relationships, train travel agents on our product, and prepare sales plans to achieve geography-wise and service-wise sales targets.
- Negotiating: Network, negotiate, and close deals with clients, and strategize to market the MyPartner product effectively.
A Master's degree from a reputable institute is required, along with 2-6 years of experience in Sales, Travel Trade, Key Account Management, Contracting, or B2B Sales.
Prior experience handling multiple accounts as a partner is preferred, and proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is necessary.
