Procurement Specialist

About the Role

This position involves sourcing and acquiring electrical products while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical materials and excellent negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate vendors to ensure they meet project requirements and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Review technical documentation such as SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases are accurate and on budget.
  • Maintain vendor relationships through regular communication and conduct audits for quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth dispatches and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
